The Place Rack command places racks on floor plans.

Place a Rack

1. From the Placement section of the ISP Tab click the Rack command:

   

2. The Inside Place Rack dialog box opens.

   

3. Enter the Engineering Units per Master Units (EU per MU) used for this floor plan. If the Master Unit used for the working session is set to Feet, setting EU per MU to 12 means that the rack spacing units will be set to inches. If the Master Unit used for the working session is set to Meter, setting EU per MU to 100 means that the rack spacing units will be set to centimeters.
4. Select a rack from the pull-down menu.
5. Place the rack on the floor plan.
6. The Enter Rack ID dialog box opens.

   

7. Enter the rack name and voltage and press Enter.
8. Place the rack annotation near the rack.
9. Click the right mouse button when finished placing racks.
